Facilities:

Teledyne Printed Circuits occupies a dedicated, single story 65,000 s.f. building including mezzanines in Hudson, New Hampshire. Featuring a complete process waste treatment plant, approximately 5,000 s.f. of class ten thousand Clean Room area, and full plant HVAC services, the building is expandable by an additional 20,000 s.f. if required. Building services include natural gas as well as city water and sewer and a waste treatment discharge permit of 30,000 gallons a day.

Equipment:

The manufacturing process utilizes the latest in capital equipment designed specifically for the manufacturing of close tolerance flex and rigid flex products. Our base of approximately ten million dollars in dedicated equipment assets supports our very high technology, state-of-the-art product lines. Major capital items, such as hot oil heated, computer controlled multilayer presses, with high pressure and temperature lamination capabilites are complemented by other major processes including light imaging machines, automated optical inspection equipment, and tight tolerance (+/-0.003") drilling and routing equipment. All of this equipment has been purchased or updated within the last two years. Of special note is custom designed equipment not readily available at other flex or rigid flex manufacturers, such as our unique automated flex material cutting equipment.

Manufacturing:

At Teledyne we provide continuous achievement of our customers needs through our integrated team approach to manufacturing. We have developed a culture where the customer, our R&D, Process Engineering, and Manufacturing groups all work as a team on a routine basis. Tools such as DOE (Design of Experiment), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and statistical applications are used to develop processes to enhance specific customer product as well as improve the process as a whole. This strategy of cooperative development has allowed our processes to constantly evolve in concert with our customers product requirements. Our commitment to reliably providing our customers with value added processes and operations, has led to the development of numerous new products by our customers, and allowed us to remain at the leading edge of manufacturing technology year after year.
